  40. Copy the files to the GEAR product directory and 
  41. overwrite the existing ones, in order to update
  42. your GEAR software. In addition the following must
  43. be done:

  45. Windows 95 users:
  46.  
  47. Copy the file MINIASPI.VXD to your
  48. windows\system\iosubsys directory and reboot.
  49. If you are using the first Windows 95 release
  50. (July/Aug 95, build 4.00.950) it is advised to update
  51. certain system files. These files can be found in 
  52. IOSUPD.zip. This zip file contains a readme file on
  53. how to install these system files.

  56. Windows NT 4.0 users:
  57.  
  58. Re-run the NT 4 reader driver installer (Cdrinst.exe)
  59. located in the /Drv_WNT directory under your program
  60. directory. Make sure it uses the new GEARCDR.CFG
  61. file as new input file (you can use the 'browse' button
  62. to select the new GEARCDR.CFG file).

  66. KNOWN PROBLEMS:
  67.  
  68. Reading Video CD data with the Mitsumi drive will 
  69. result in read errors.
  70.  
  71. Copying a Video CD with Replicator and the Philips
  72. CDD3610 will result in a non-playable Video disc.
  73. A Video CD read with readtrack through GEAR 4.2
  74. and written as a CD track list works fine.
  75.  
  76. Writing a CD-i disc with the Sony 928 will result
  77. in a non-playable CD-i.
